Industrial engineering graduates from various sectors
and companies visited their alma mater to meet Bilkent
IE candidates of the future. The visitors joined the IE
496 coded seminar course in Mithat Çoruh Auditorium to
talk about their experiences and life after university.
The event was organized with the contributions of the IE
chair, Prof. İhsan Sabuncuoğlu, and Bilkent Graduates
Association. Prof. İhsan Sabuncuoğlu is also on the
project team of the industrial engineering alumni
information system which currently contains information
on 600 IE graduates and is accessible to all IE students
and graduates via the Internet. In his opening remarks,
Prof. Sabuncuoğlu mentioned that communication between
graduates and students is as important as one's career,
in many respects. Following the seminar, students had
the chance to speak with graduates at a reception that
took place in the EB Building.
